2006 Charles Heidsieck Blanc des Millénaires

The blend consists of 20% from each of the five Côte des Blanc crus of Cramant, Avize, Le Mesnil, Oger and Vertus. Remarkably fresh with delicate notes of toast, vanilla and almond, and the aromatic complexity is matched by a toasty opulence of fruit cut by incisive acidity, a honeyed note underpinned by a vivacious austerity, finishing on a mouthwateringly mineral dry finish.
