Medium amber-tinged red. Complex, full-blown aromas of raspberry, currant, mocha and underbrush. Sweet and fat, with lower acidity than the 2001 but a juiciness nonetheless. Nicely fleshy Barbaresco that finishes with suave, sweet, palate-coating tannins. Stephen Tanzer, Vinous.
