1997 Aldo Conterno Barolo Cicala

The deepest color of these '97s. Deeply pitched aromas of chocolate and grilled nuts. A step up in concentration and thickness, but also has a more powerful spine of acidity. Very densely packed. Here I find even more depth of material and sheer extract to buffer the tannins. Very long, strong finish.
