1996 Brovia Barolo Ca Mia

Full red. Reticent but fruit-driven aromas of raspberry, cherry, dried rose and tar; quintessential young Barolo perfume. Full, deep and layered, though the fresh berry and chocolate flavors are stubbornly unevolved. Finishes quite tannic but very persistent, with notes of dried flowers, shoe polish and dark chocolate. This will benefit from a decade of bottle aging.
