1995 Clerico (Domenico) Barolo Percristina

Good deep red. More vibrant, red-fruity aromas complicated by notes of mace and caramel. Firm, fruity and intensely flavored; less complex than the last two bottles but also less evolved. Perhaps even more concentrated. Nicely integrated acidity lends clarity to the flavors. Structured, firmly tannic and long. Clerico has made a superb trio of '95 Barolos. Stephen Tanzer, Vinous.
