1993 Domaine Launay Pommard les Perrières

A nose of smoked meats, pine needle sap, black earth and stones. It is deep, cool and stony. A little skinny through the mid but builds richness with air. It is slightly rustic, with chunky fruits and structural elements are still playing their part. Excellent freshness and gains more nuance as it sits in the glass. Thoroughly enjoyable. JH 2024
