1983 Moillard Grivot Chambolle-Musigny

The cork was in terrific nick and the wine's colour very fresh. It had a gorgeous nose of rose petal, strawberry and black earth. Florals flowered through onto the palate and there was a tinge of red fruits. It was fine and lacy and thoroughly engaging. Not particularly deep or long but totally satisfying. If you need more length, take smaller and faster sips! JH 2025
