Very fresh and pure nose of graphite, tar, briary fruits, sweet earth, cedar and violets. It is round and creamy in the mouth with a degree of polish and some black olive tapenade saltiness. There is a pleasant flavour reminiscent of an after dinner mint and the finish is fresh and crisp. A delicious luncheon claret that we enjoyed immensely with dinner. JH 2014
