1974 Borgogno Francesco Barolo

Has some curry leaf tertiary smells along with tar, leather, brown spices and rum and raisins. The rum and raisins flow through the palate and it is mature but still has decent freshness. There is still some chew to the back-end and it leaves a very savoury imprint. JH 2016
