1973 Camus Charmes Chambertin

There's a bit of brown sugar to the aroma along with some decaying leaves, beef stock and gingerbread. It has a vinous sweetness in the mouth and it feels lacy against the gums. There is reasonable depth of flavour and one is left with quite a savoury impression once the wine is swallowed. JH 2016
