When first opened there was quite a bit of raisin fruit and some brown sugar. A couple of hours decant and it tightened considerably. It smelt of rusted metal, iodine, tar and earth. It was strong, muscular and forceful in the mouth and very savoury. Chewy tannins brought home the finish. JH 2016
