1964 Prunotto Barolo Bussia di Monforte Riserva

This was in beautiful condition. It poured out very light of colour but had such an expressive nose of Indian spice, strawberry, black earth and balsamic. There was something vinous and sweet at the wine's core and it had so much savoury nuance. It had real sneaky power and modest yet evident structure to the back-end. Length was fabulous. JH 2022
