The nose is decidedly tertiary, smelling of teak, forest floor, leather and soy. The fruit has a slightly raisined quality and the palate is chunky and loaded with sweet and savoury flavours. The mouthfeel is slightly slippery, like and oyster, and the finish is persistent. A good showing, performing well above expectations. JH 2022
