1962 Louis Latour Bourgogne Aligote

It poured out looking a lot younger than it is. There was certainly some sous bois and mushroom tertiary characters along with a lemon curd aroma and flavours. It had some butterscotch flavours and grapefruit rind tartness to the finish. The wine’s acidity is very much still present. JH 2014
