2012 Bartolo Mascarello Barolo Magnum

This came out of the gate absolutely firing. A beautiful perfume of rose petal and cherry greets the nose. It has plenty of spice and is so silky in the mouth. There are subtle savoury nuances that appear with each sip and tannins are relaxed yet supportive. So pure and delicious and a wine that is perfectly balanced and proportioned and right in the zone now. JH 2023
