2016 Jean-Claude Boisset Bourgogne Pinot Noir Les Ursulines
It has an engaging nose of fresh cherries, violets and earth. There’s a core of fleshy fruit overlaying a stony base. It has excellent depth and the finish is long and somewhat akin to sucking on a cherry stone. This is a very low yielding vintage and the wine should age effortlessly for a decade under screwcap.
