Good medium red. Redcurrant, marzipan and sexy sweet spices on the nose and palate; much showier today than the 2010 version. Rich, pliant and sweet, combining a fine-grained texture and noteworthy inner-mouth lift. Broad, ripely tannic and easy to understand. Stephen Tanzer, Vinous.
