Pale yellow-gold. Roasted aromas of pineapple, sultana raisin, honey and minerals. Very ripe, full and sweet, with an intriguing fusel aspect and a hint of alcohol. Doesn't have quite the clarity or cut of the '90 but this very persistent wine is fuller in the mouth and far more easygoing today. Stephen Tanzer, Vinous.
